Why should you join Unifrog’s employer community?
21st September 2023
Unifrog helps over 1.7 million students around the world choose their best next steps after school. In schools and colleges, teachers and careers advisers use the platform as a one-stop shop for careers guidance.
86% of students who’ve had four encounters with employers and employees before leaving school are less likely to become NEET (not in education, employment, or training). Our mission is to level the playing field so that all students can access the opportunities that are right for them – and as an employer partner, you can play a key part in making that happen.
Working with employers means we can produce up-to-date, true-to-life content to expand students’ horizons. So how can your company join our growing community of employer partners—like Virgin Atlantic, the BBC, PwC, the NHS, and Asda—and what’s the benefit for you?
What do you get?
As an employer partner, you will get the chance to take advantage of opportunities like:
- An employer profile – here you can show students what it’s really like to work for your company. You’ll answer questions about pathways into a career, accessibility, and work culture, and tackle any stereotypes about what a ‘typical’ employee looks like with the option to create a video featuring current employees.
- Matching campaigns – these are your chance to target the students who are genuinely interested in working for an organisation like yours. You can also use these alongside our insights to reach your target demographic group. Promote your events and opportunities—from work experience weeks to apprenticeships—and students who have favourited careers areas or roles linked to your company will see them right at the top of their homepage, in their ‘What’s coming up’ feed.
- Events and webinars – represent your company at our events for students, teachers, and parents. You can get involved in webinars, conferences, and fairs where you’ll talk directly to engaged people about your opportunities and get to know the things that matter to them.
That’s not all – there are even more opportunities to get involved with Unifrog and our network. You could join our community of schools and colleges on our private Facebook group, or sponsor one of our Careers library guides, giving students a feel for what a typical day or week really looks like in one of the roles your company offers.
Plus, our partners now have the chance to sponsor one of Unifrog’s original Courses or Skills Development Workshops. Our team works with you to establish what you want your course or workshop to cover and our expert content team, made up of ex-teachers and video production specialists, complete the rest of the work. We can also re-use and adapt any existing content you already have!
What are the benefits?
Working with us gives you the chance to:
- Build your brand awareness, so students who didn’t know your company before can get to know you – and those who did can understand the full range of roles and opportunities on offer.
- Debunk myths – maybe there’s an expectation that everyone at your company is a certain gender, or that you have to be good at maths to get in. Use your profile, or opportunities to chat to students directly, to challenge the stereotypes that are out there and diversify your recruitment.
- Grow your corporate social responsibility – Unifrog is a B Corp and member of the Fair Education Alliance. We operate as a social enterprise; any profits made go directly back into improving the platform for students. By working with us, you’ll be demonstrating your company’s commitment to ethical partnerships and to our mission to level the playing field for young people.
How does it work?
You’ll start with a demo from our Employer Partnerships team. Once the team has got a sense of what you need, we’ll work to create a package that’s tailored to your business. If you choose to go ahead, we’ll start planning your content with you!
