Our journey to 1,000 international schools

Reaching 1,000 international schools is a huge milestone for us at Unifrog. It’s all thanks to the dedicated schools, students, and universities who have joined us on the journey to become the one-stop platform for career and university guidance for international schools!

How we got here

2015 - In the early days of Unifrog, a few international schools approached us to access our university search tool - at the time, one of our only features! This sparked the realisation that many more international schools could benefit from our support.

2016 - Greg joined Unifrog as our first International Area Manager, spreading the word about Unifrog worldwide and learning about international school college counseling to tailor our platform to their needs. This work, along with support from our international school partners, helped Unifrog become the truly international platform it is today.

Since then, we’ve expanded to support schools in over 110 countries, building strong relationships with institutions around the world!

Growing our international team

2017 - Greg and Unifrog Co-Founder Alex attended the International ACAC conference for the first time, meeting some of our now long-standing partner schools and leaving motivated to further support the IACAC community. Later this year, Nick joined Greg on the International team as Area Manager for Europe.

2018 - We opened our Hong Kong office and welcomed Farhana as our Area Manager for Asia, strengthening our presence in the region, where we now work with around 250 international schools.

2021 - We launched our integration with the Common Application, enabling hundreds of schools worldwide to seamlessly manage applications and submit documents through Unifrog to institutions in the United States. Additionally, we established a new regional office in Bogotá to support over 100 schools across the Americas.

2023 - We expanded our support with the launch of the Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) pack, helping schools provide holistic support for students' well-being and personal growth.

We’re now proud to have 13 dedicated international school team members based across 3 continents, and speaking 11 languages, helping us truly understand and connect with our international partners. Beyond our international support team, Unifrog as a whole has expanded to include a much larger team working on resources, content, marketing, data, platform development, and more!

What’s new and what’s next

We’re not slowing down! One of our most exciting new developments is Talent pool, a feature that connects students directly with their best-fit universities across the globe, helping them access opportunities tailored to their interests and skills.

We’re also constantly improving our resources, from new subject and career profiles to interactive features that make exploring post-school pathways even easier.
